I ordered through Uber and when it arrived, the Parihuela was still nice and hot and the ceviche was nice and cold. As you can see from the picture, there was a lot of seafood in the soup and except for a couple of calamari rings that were overcooked everything else was just fine. The crab claw was even cracked which made it easier to eat. The ceviche was just the way I like it, not too sour and the small portion was more than enough for me for two meals. I'll certainly be ordering from them again.

Pisco is a pretty restaurant. They offered me a flyer for karaoke, rumba, and other family events. I did not attend but it seemed cool. The restaurant is a bright red with a zig zag orange design. I liked that they had a bench. However, in my opinion, the prices were somewhat expensive. The inside of the restaurant is dark. I saw an entrance to the kitchen in the front of the restaurant. There is a hostess available also in the front of the restaurant. Pisco has a very sophisticated or contemporary atmosphere to it. The menu can be checked online. They have an accessible website. Pisco offers all sorts of traditional Peruvian cuisine. We ordered over the phone. It was my first impression, but we would go again. The hostess was super polite. They had me wait for maybe five minutes before I got my food. It was not a long wait by any circumstance possible. I ordered the arroz chaufa de pollo. We also ordered the jalea mixta. I thought the rice tasted great. If I were to make a critique, I think the chicken could use more flavor. Maybe the chicken could be fried a little longer? I also thought putting more egg in the rice would give it more flavor. I did think the jalea was remarkable though. I thought the flavor was delicious. I might also just like that it is more deeply fried. The jalea was good though. The waitress offered sauces before I left. I did not try the sauces I imagine they are good. Pisco is a sophisticated restaurant. It was an interesting experience.

The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, greeted us as we arrived, I loved their Peruvian accent. The Lomo Saltado was delicious, the meat was tender with lots of taste. The vibe in the restaurant was also good, Peruvian music was playing in the background. The Papa a la Huancaina sauce was watery but yet tasty with a lil spicy kick. Will definitely be back when I visit Tampa again.

Omg! we drove from Clearwater to this place, we were celebrating Mother's Day late, because my husband and me went to a wedding in Mexico for Mother's Day. My husband read the reviews and says to me, "I don't understand why they only have 3 star, after reading all the reviews he said, "well no one is saying that the food is not good", so we came, I'm so glad that we did because the food is Amazing! and the service extraordinary! Thank you so much for everything, a good tip for anyone that goes... if you have any issues ask for Limber the manager, he will take good care of you like he took care of us! Ps: do NOT forget to try Pisco sour it's their signature drink and it tasted superb!!!!! ;)

A foodie friend recommended Peruvian food and Pisco Restaurant for lunch because #1 I was looking to eat paleo dishes and #2 it was close to my job. You should know that this was the first time I ever had Peruvian food, so I cannot comment on authenticity and have no other past Peruvian dishes to compare it to. With that said, I really enjoyed the strong citrus flavor of the Ceviche and the assorted seafood were cut into small bite-sized pieces so each bite was flavorful. I liked that this dish included sweet potatoes and corn so it wasn't just a protein packed entree. My friend also had the Ceviche Mixto, but also ordered the Antichucos to share with me. I had never tried beef hearts, but I love to try foods that I'm nor familiar with. The antichucos was served with yucca and corn, which was a nice side instead of potatoes or rice. I expected beef heart to be chewy and tough. On the contrary, it was surprisingly on the tender side... like a thick cut of steak cooked medium-well and the flavor was spectacular. The fact that they served it with yucca made it a dish I would definitely come back for. The dishes are large and each entree is enough for 2 people to share or for 1 person to have a leftover meal for the following day. I cannot express how much I love that there were many Paleo options. Sometimes, it can be a challenge to find Paleo friendly meals at restaurants without having to make changes to the menu. Lastly, they had friendly and quick service. Note: they do have a nice lunch menu, but we ordered from the main menu.

I'm not sorry that I'm addicted to Ceviche. I convinced my hubs to upgrade the appetizer portion to the larger size of Ceviche for an additional $5 because I LOVE this dish so much that I hog it. The Ceviche is simply wonderful with extra red onions (THANK YOU, Pisco) for remembering to add more. I also liked the perfectly cut fish - just the right bite size and amount of citrus to "cook" the fish in it. I ordered and was able to get the food picked up in a very reasonable amount of time especially on a work night around 7:45pmEST. I always tell myself to be adventurous, but let's be real, this dish delivers on everything from freshness to a large serving AND is delightful. One day I'm going to travel to Peru, so I can eat this dish everyday on vacation like I did when I was in Costa Rica! =) Live Musical performances-check Facebook for band info.!
